Mower robots

The mosaic-X5 GNSS module enables smaller-sized robots, to be equipped with RTK high-accuracy positioning. For mower robots this opens the door to optimized operation, following predefined routes rather than moving randomly within the wired perimeter. Multi-frequency GNSS technology coupled with APME+ multipath mitigation ensures the highest level or positioning reliability even during operation around buildings, trees or other structures like ground solar panels. The mosaic module is designed to easily fit into the assembly line for an efficient manufacturing process.

Delivery robots

Ground robots delivering food or packages often operate in urban areas near people and buildings. For reliable operation of a sensor fusion system, Septentrio GNSS receivers take integrity to the next level with RAIM+ honest accuracy error reporting (uncertainty of positioning). In environments which are challenging for GNSS, this technology will put up a flag if loss of positioning accuracy is detected, helping sensor fusion algorithms to take the best decision for navigation. To ensure security of the goods, AIM+ anti-jamming technology protects the receiver from intentional or unintentional radio interference.

Inspection and security robots

Industrial assets and domains often require continuous monitoring and inspection for either maintenance or security reasons. In urban areas or while operating close to infrastructure GNSS receivers may be susceptible to GNSS radio frequency interference or jamming. It’s becoming increasingly easier to acquire devices called jammers, which can block GPS positioning with a push of a button. AIM+ advanced anti-jamming, anti-spoofing technology is built into Septentrio receivers ensuring resilience against both intentional and unintentional jamming and spoofing. Additionally APME+ technology reduces multipath (reflected signals) which can degrade GNSS performance around large structures or buildings.
